Before taking up residence on Wisteria Lane, Eva Longoria's desperate quest for fame saw her try her hand at lingerie modelling.

The star posed for a racy underwear campaign seven years ago when she was a struggling actress eager for her big Hollywood break.

The recently unearthed pictures show the 31-year-old in a series of barely there ensembles and at one point she is sprawled seductively across an animal print chair wearing underwear and PVC boots.

Eva readily admits she was always hungry for stardom, citing 'ambition' as her favourite word.

The Texan born former beauty pageant contestant has said: 'I love that word. When people say, "describe yourself in three words", I'd say "ambition", "charisma" and... a "little crazy".'

'When I went to LA I knew nobody. I had no money, no car and no job. I just literally went with a suitcase and I was not one bit scared.

'I felt someone was watching over me. I really think it was God saying: "This is your path. This is where you have to be."

'I felt no fear. I was like "wow this is where I belong".'

After landing bit parts - and the occasional modelling job - she eventually scored the role on the soap The Young And The Restless before finding international fame on Desperate Housewives.

The newly discovered shoot is are in stark contrast to the new glamourous - albeit airbrushed - promotional images released this week ahead of hit series' fifth season.

Eva is gearing up for yet another transformation - her character gets a mumsy makeover in the upcoming episodes, which picks up in the year 2013.

Lindsay Lohan hasn’t talked to her father, Michael Lohan, for some time, and the actress has turned to Access Hollywood to speak out against her big-mouthed dad.

Lindsay says she’s tired of Michael publicly commenting on her mom Dina, sister Ali, and friend Samantha Ronson, and finds it unfortunate that he turns to the media to get attention.

“He’s out of control,” she told Access from the set of “Ugly Betty,” where she’s filming several guest appearances for the ABC show’s third season.

“I want him to stop hurting and talking to the media about the people I love,” she said.

In an interview with E! on Tuesday, Michael said Samantha was “using” his daughter after hearing rumors that the DJ might be writing a tell-all book.

“I’ve shut up about this long enough,” Michael told E! “She’s using my daughter. People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some L.A. DJ. And now she’s writing a book? I am at wit’s end with this stuff. This is not in Lindsay’s best interest.”

“Let’s just say I hope Lindsay starts opening her eyes and realizes who the people using her are,” he added.

The actress smiled at waiting photographers, but her navy shift dress revealed the painful-looking injuries.

There's about to be a new woman in Lindsay Lohan's life.

Doing his part to keep the family name in the headlines, Michael Lohan has confirmed to E! News that he popped the question to longtime girlfriend Erin Muller.

"We picked out a ring, but it's not official," the 48-year-old Lohan patriarch said. But although Muller, 24, has accepted his proposal, and he's not exactly keeping the nuptial news under wraps, he says he's holding off on officially announcing the engagement until "some family issues are resolved."

Which begs the question: If confirming to a major media outlet doesn't constitute an official announcement, what does?

Lest any conspiracy theorists think tensions with his famous daughter are the family issues in question, Lohan was quick to clarify that his cancer-stricken father's failing health is "the real reason."

Not to mention that other small outstanding concern, namely his possible paternity of 13-year-old Ashley Kaufmann, allegations which surfaced earlier this year.

"We're waiting for the paternity test and my father's situation to be resolved."

The girl's mother, Kristi Kaufmann, alleged that Lohan fathered Ashley during an affair when he and Dina Lohan were briefly separated. While he has donated his DNA, the sample has yet to be processed pending the appropriate court order.

But while Michael Lohan may be holding off on an announcement, he didn't show the same restraint when it came to the ring. Muller was photographed donning the major bauble over the weekend at the Mercedes-Benz Bridgehampton Polo Tournament.

Meanwhile, the elder Lohan took a timeout from touting his new leading lady to addressing a couple of others that have been around awhile.

First off, he took aim at Lindsay's steady sidekick Samantha Ronson.

"I'm not happy," Michael Lohan says. "Ever since [Lindsay] got out of rehab and all these people came back into her life, things haven't been right.

"People like Samantha Ronson don't need to be around Lindsay. She shouldn't be dragging Lindsay around nightclubs. Who was Samantha Ronson before Lindsay Lohan? She was nobody. She is using her for her own gain. All these people have inserted themselves into her life like parasites, and it's not right. I'm done with them."

As for his ex, Dina Lohan?

"Dina is a kiss-ass. She's just nice to everybody, trying to be friends with everyone, just so she can be on Lindsay's good side. And it is wrong. She should be a mother first."

We're waiting to hear back from the former missus. We're sure she'll have nothing but hearty congratulations and happy thoughts for her ex.

Heidi Montag debuted her new music video (above) for "Overdosin'" on Monday but later apologized to fans for technical difficulties.

In the video, the Hills star, 21, plays an '80s aerobics instructor as she dances around in lycra, legwarmers and a sweatband.

The pop song, released last week, "is about when you fall in love with someone," she recently told Ryan Seacrest. "[About] how I feel about Spencer and my relationship."

When Seacrest asked if a wedding could possibly inspire her next single, she joked, "I'm waiting for the ring to make that song."

Look for more from Montag and Pratt ahead, who have volunteered to take over the MTV reality hit next season if Lauren Conrad decides to step down.

"I think that maybe Lauren is tired of [being on the show], but we're just beginning," she told Seacrest. "We're not even remotely sick of it."

Luckily for Vanessa Minnillo, life doesn't always imitate art.

Case in point? In Disaster Movie, hitting theaters Friday, Minnillo's cheerleader character just can't get her boyfriend to say "I love you."

"He just can't drop the L-word," Minnillo, 27, tells PEOPLE of her character's commitment-challenged boyfriend. "And what a girl wants more than anything in the world is for their boyfriend to say 'I love you.' "

But, says Minnillo, her real-life beau Nick Lachey, 34, doesn't have any similar hang-ups: "The L-word is not thrown around by men as easily as it is by women – but I didn't say it first! He's very loving. We're very open and vocal."

While Minnillo and Lachey may be in sync when it comes to their love for each other, their attempt to exercise together is not so harmonious.

"We used to work out together, but we stopped," says Minnillo, laughing. "We're doing different things. And the guy runs forever! Like, I swear, he's running 11 miles a day. I can't run. That's the one thing I can't do, because I feel like the further I jog away from my house, the further I have to jog back!"

E! has pink-slipped Denise Richards' reality show.

Richards, who went to court last year to fight ex-husband Charlie Sheen for rights to have their children appear on the show "It's Complicated," turned out to be a less-than-stellar reality star.

A show low-light was her confrontation with an editor for a magazine over how she has been portrayed in the tabloid press.

"The numbers started out pretty good - just over 1.5 million tuned in for the premiere episode," a source told "The Insider" yesterday. "But the audience has dropped off. "

Andre Romelle Young Jr., the 20-year-old son of rapper Dr. Dre, was found dead in his Woodland Hills, California, home Saturday morning, his rep tells MTV News.

A cause of death yet to be determined, pending the results of a toxicology report. An autopsy was conducted Monday.

Young was discovered in his bed at around 10:30 a.m. Saturday by his mother, who attempted to wake him, the coroner's spokesperson tells MTV News.

Young was unresponsive, so she called paramedics, who responded to the scene.

Efforts to revive him failed, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the coroner's spokesperson, Young had spent the previous evening with friends.

His mother told police that he'd returned home Saturday at around 5:30 a.m., and that she'd heard him in his bedroom.

Police said they did not suspect foul play.

"Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr," his rep said in a statement to MTV on Tuesday. "Please respect his family's grief and privacy at this time."
